It  was  a  boon  for  us  to  be  able  to  concentrate  on  Volume  2  because  historically  (pre-2000)  the  focus  of  sports  medicine  had  been  injuries,  and  the  first  four  editions  of  Clinical  Sports  Medicine  really  reflected  that  bias.
